WELCOME

This is the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) Web site for the Usenet newsgroup alt.bread.recipes (a.b.r). These pages contain answers to the most common questions asked in the newsgroup, as well as a general overview of bread baking for the novice, for those who have made bread and want to make it better, and for experienced bakers seeking to expand their repertoire of bread types.

The general rules of "Netiquette" apply to a.b.r, but the group is unmoderated and relies on the good will of posters—and the fact that everything you post is archived for posterity—to keep discussions civil. You are welcome to post just about anything dealing with making bread or bread-like things. This includes recipes, discussions of technique, and descriptions of bread you've baked. Occasional off-topic ramblings, particularly humorous ones, are tolerated from those who participate constructively in the group.

a.b.r is a non-binary group. If you want to share pictures, you can post links to the group and host the pictures on your own personal site or at [TBD].
